*cough*
Well I'm finally emerging from my (completely unannounced

) seclusion. Sometimes I just have to withdraw completely into myself, severing all external communications without warning, when things get too taxing on my rather limited resources. I haven't done anything online from sometime January until just recently except for research or news now and then.
I've got all those sketches for people done, I just have to find -- no,
make the time to turn the .rifs into something I can post here. This weekend, mayhap.
I think I can spare some time for dA again, though, now that I'm feeling more energetic and more able to cope with full time work
and a lot of drawing on the side. Won't be as enjoyable without my subscription though, which seems to have expired and which I can't afford, alas. *sigh* I forgot how annoying it is not being subscribed.
Erm.... and I'll see how much headway I can make on this here backlogged inbox...
Hope y'all are doing well and I look forward to checking out the new things people have done since I was last around this site!

Just wondering...are the weapons on your skyships flat trajectory (which would explain the small caliber and short barrels) or do they arc like real world naval guns. if they arc, have you thought about targetting? having to worry about the z axis would make conventional early twentieth century british 'bracket' targetting almost impossible at any extended range and seeing as there has been no sign of radar i was wondering how it is engagements where conducted at any appreciable range. or are engagment ranges just much shorter than naval ranges? or am i overthinking all this?

Believe me, I've seen every Miyazaki movie many many times for many years now -- his work has influenced mine to a sometimes unfortunate degree.
