Description
So I finally decided to post this here project... I hesitated for a while, because I'm significantly unhappy with a lot of things (you'll hopefully see why as this goes on), but there are also things I'm somewhat proud of (mainly my lettering) so I figured I might as well. I started this draft sometime last winter. Almost all I can see anymore are the gigantic, glaring flaws....
Original image size 6x9" (primary page area 5x8"), Rapidograph on Bristol. When I did this I was quite committed to the idea that my comics pages should be drawn at the size that I intend to see them printed. I've since realized that I'm simply not good enough to justify this yet and have doubled the size of my working page.
I'll be posting pages somewhat slowly, as due to my lack of a scanner I have to do a fair amount of tweaking to get my pictures to look halfway decent. Btw, I'm proud of myself for figuring out how to use the shear and perspective tools to somewhat fix image distortion (yes, I know, I'm lame -- but I'm also fairly computer-impaired).
