Thank you -- yes, the design is entirely mine. I even have a set of plans for it, which will be put up in the gallery if I can ever find them again... -_-;;

That nails it... +devwatch for certain. I loves me some airships... :D

Miyazaki fan?
:iconamarynceus:
:)

Miyazaki fan since early in high school when a friend got some unsubbed copies of Nausicaa, Totoro, and half (!) of Laputa from somebody in Japan... I'm a serious airship addict, and it's mostly due to Miyazaki. The comic projects I'm working on are stuffed to the gills with ridiculous airships. ;)
:iconinkthinker:
Yeah, half the reason I drew "forever blue" was thanks to Porco Rosso and Nausicaa. I only recently saw the uncut Nausicaa (on TCM, actually), and was really surprised by how different the story was from the comic.
:iconamarynceus:
Mhm. Miyazaki was apparently disappointed in the film and thus started on the comic to expand and flesh it out. I've heard that he considers Nausicaa to be his worst film; and although I still love it, I'm compelled to agree.

Of course, Miyazaki's "worst" is still head and shoulders above many, many things. ;)
:iconkamoostoos:
amazing, if this is what we can expect from your comic, just tell me were I can get ahold of a copy. no complaints on anything, everything looks amazing.

Ps. yay! more airships! :ahoy:
:iconhyper-psycho:

nice work
