Skyships

Just a little quicky to help stave off the insanity threatening due to a batch of time-sucking projects (about half a dozen of them left the 30 hour mark behind a long time ago).

I really like the clouds in this for some reason, even though they're really basic and simple. And I haven't done skyships like this in ages.

Here we have a pair of skyships from the Second Golden Age of Tyraith. The first such Age was the one immediately before the Industrial period, and the second comes after that. The Industrial Age is the time period I'm using for various comic projects; this second 'golden age' is the time period that I used back when this world was created for AD&D purposes back around '91 or so, and has all the standard fantasy goodies. So these skyships are powered by, I dunno, a scruffy mage snorting lines of pixie dust or some shit.

Various gouache brushes, blender and cover pencil, Painter. Couple of hours maybe? Silly huge canvas for such a simple pic - like 7000 wide or something. Perhaps I'll do something with this later on, add a foreground or something and go crazy on the clouds..
